The 'Death Boats' are a series of pieces which have evolved from the bodies, the backbones and ribs form into the decaying boats. They are filled with memories, spirits, unborn and timelessness.

Death Boats are part of many cultures, taking the dead into the other world. They hold the memories and when ship wrecks and long dead vessels are uncovered they also retain the spirits of those which sailed in them. The ribs and backbones of the boats remind me of the body and what we carry within us.

Photographs will follow soon of work already completed and new pieces are being made.
